Spring (September – November)
Trees and flowers start to blossom in spring so you can expect to see a lot of colourful landscapes. Cherry blossom also happens around this time (Sept).
Summer (November – February)
As summer approaches, you can expect long hours of day and sunny warm weather. Long day light allows you to fit more travel in your plan and travel further. Lupins are also starting to blossom in Nov-Dec, the different shades of purple lupins cover most part of the McKenzie area and they are extremely pictorial for pre-wedding. New Zealand summer is all about sunshine, blue sky and turquoise blue lakes.
Autumn ( April – May)
Mid April to mid May is Autumn festival here, the South Island is covered in rustic gold.
Winter (June to August)
June to August is our winter time, this is also the peak season for oversea travellers as the holiday season begins for countries in the Northern hemisphere, so there are a lot of visitors coming to New Zealand for skiing/snowboarding and to check out our magnificent snow mountains and southern alps. If you love snow mountains, this is the time to come.
