While the resolution (MegaPixel) on DSLR is continuing to increase with 5D II at 21MP and D3X at 24MP, the file size of each image is huge, especially when shooting in RAW. Why should you shoot in RAW? Neil talks about why he prefer to shoot in RAW.
With Nikon D3X, the file size for RAW 14-bit Lossless is approximately 25.5 MB, RAW 12-bit Lossless is approximately 19.5MB and RAW 12-bit Uncompressed at a whopping 36.3 MB. In comparison to the D3s, D3 and D700 which are all 12MP, RAW 12-bit Lossless is approximately 10MB. That means if you are a wedding photographer or a keen traveller, you will need to carry numerous memory cards with you, unless you have a CF/SD storage like the Hyperdrive. Memory cards are getting cheaper these days. Personally, I recommend memory cards from Sandisk. All my memory cards are from Sandisk, hundreds of GB of them. I never had any problem with them, they are fast and reliable. You can find all your memory card needs at B&H video.
What is the best way to carry all these memory cards around? Try the Think Tank Pixel Pocket Rocket. It is a brilliant design from the Think Tank Team. It is small and compact which you can easily fit in your pocket or camera bag, you can also attach it to your belt. It is a must have camera accessory. Commercially, there are two versions of it – the Think Tank Pixel Pocket Rocket which is in blue and holds 10 CF and the Think Tank Pee Wee Pixel Pocket Rocket which is in red and holds 4 CF and 3 SD.

Not available commercially, Think Tank also makes a promotion Think Tank Pixel Pocket Rocket which holds 6 CF and is in black with a much larger Think Tank logo on the front. The promotion Think Tank Pixel Pocket Rocket however does not have a business card holder and belt/bag strap attachment.

Personally, I like the Think Tank Pixel Pocket Rocket which can hold plenty of CF and is easy to attach and store to anywhere. It is a brilliant accessory when you need to grab all your cards on the go.
