It looks like the long wait is over for some lucky people. Canon’s flagship 18MP EOS-1D X will hit the shop on the 25th June in a very limited number of cause. The RRP is set to be $51,800 HKD, but expects it to rise significantly due to limited stock world wide. It will probably be back order for months and months, so pre-order yours early. The Canon EOS-1D X is available to pre-order at B&H.
Initially, it was expected that the EOS-1D X will be much more expensive than the Nikon D4, but it looks like the price has come down and is roughly priced similar to the Nikon D4.
For some lucky people, they will have their 1D X very soon.
